IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) will stage its 11th annual Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) in Danang, Vietnam, from 2-4 April 2025. AGTC is considered to be the most important golf tourism sales convention in the Asia Pacific region.
IAGTO Chief Executive, Peter Walton, said “Danang is one of the popular golf destinations with Korean golf travellers, with seven top class golf courses easily accessible from this holiday resort city, great value hotels and restaurants and plenty of nightlife including karaoke.”
He added “We are expecting 350 delegates from 40 countries to attend AGTC next year, providing Korean tour operators with the opportunity to meet with golf tourism suppliers from all Asian destinations including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, China and Japan as well as from Europe, Dubai, Turkey, Morocco, Australia, New Zealand and Mauritius.”
Korean golf tour operators will be hosted free of charge for 3 nights in Danang and there are also a limited number of places for a golf experience extension of 3 nights include 3 rounds of golf at different golf courses.
AGTC is open exclusively to IAGTO members and Korean tour operators joining before the end of this year will benefit from a 33% discount on Membership Fee (reduced from USD 485 to USD 325) and the AGTC Regisration Fee is USD 160.
Korean golf destinations such as Jeju Island will also be invited to join IAGTO and attend AGTC to meeting over 150 golf tour operators from around the world, all selling Asian golf destinations.
AGTC 2025 will take place at the Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center with a Golf Tournament at Legend Danang Golf Resort’s Nicklaus Courses and Hoiana Shores Golf Club. The Familiarisation Tour for tour operators will include golf at Ba Na Hills, Montgomerie Links, Laguna Golf Lang Co and Hoiana Shores golf clubs.
